Everyday Easy-to-Make Sandwich Bread

This is an everyday easy-to-make sandwich bread. I made two loaves to have enough for a few days but the recipe below is for one loaf. You can double the recipe if want to have extra. Also, I used bread flour but you can use all-purpose flour.
Add yeast and half of the sugar to the warm milk. Mix it and cover it for a few minutes to activate the yeast. When the yeast is activated, add it to the flour along with the remaining half sugar. Mix them together and knead. knead the dough for a while and then leave it for ten minutes to rest. It will still look rough but let it rest covered, for the gluten to form. After ten minutes, knead it again and cover it again for ten minutes. Then add the salt and softened butter to the dough and knead again. cover it again for about one hour or till it doubles in size. Now take the dough out and spread it into a long rectangle. Start rolling the rectangle till it forms into a nice tight log. Pinch the ends to seal. Transfer it to a well-oiled loaf pan. Cover it and let it rise again in the pan for thirty minutes. Right before baking, brush the top with milk or yogurt. Be careful to brush it gently and not to deflate the risen loaf. Heat the oven to 350F and bake on the center rack for about 30 minutes. Take it out and check it for doneness by tapping on the top of the bread. You should hear a hollow beat when you tap on it with your knuckle. Cool it on a wire rack. When completely cooled, cut it into slices with a serrated knife. Store it over the counter instead of refrigerating it.
